Many young people spend several hours a day scrolling through Facebook, watching videos and chatting with others. As a result, they often waste valuable time and become less attentive to their studies. Parents and teachers should guide young people about the responsible use of social media. Students should set a specific time for using Facebook and give priority to education, physical exercise, reading and family interaction.
The government, educational institutions and families should work together to create awareness among young people. Proper guidance and responsible use can help them enjoy the benefits of social media while reducing its harmful effects.
